What MVP/GBPVR services should be running in the background? I seem to remember 1 other GBPVR service besides the recording service.
Also, other than setting the number of servers in config, is there any other way to restart the mvp servers?

Now there should be an extra pvrx2 or so depending onthe number of MVP servers you want.

End tasking on the mvp server (normally the one started by system and using less memory) will make it restart - probably not the nicest way of doing it..but it seems to work.

The GB-PVR Recording Service runs in the background, and it will start/stop seperate instances of PVRX2.exe to act as MVP servers. There number of instances of PVRX2 MVP server processes will match the number of auto start servers configured in the config app.

You can start it by running "PVRX2.exe -mvpmode", but this is not recommended. Started this way, the process will automatically terminate when the MVP disconnects.

Sub, this reminds me of a cosmetic issue. If you end task the recording service, the tray icon stays green.

Just a note that may help some who are having trouble starting MVP. Check the Windows Firewall. While it worked without making any Firewall changes in earlier versions, I believe since PVRX2 is a new service, my system did not have it set as an exception and would not allow the service to start. Once it was allowed, MVP started up just fine.
