The next release (v0.0.9) is now available for download from http://www.gbpvr.com/Setup009.exe

The principal changes are:

2003-1-11 v0.0.9
- Fixed a bug that was stopping folder.jpg being used in the media libraries.
- Fixed a bug with file starting with \ in m3u playlists
- Ctrl-B (or blue remote button) toggles between icon and list view in the media libraries
- Now showing more (also smaller) items/icons in icon view of the music library. These are now closer to the aspect ration of album covers
- Added *.vob to the filter string of the video media. Successfully played a dvd .vob off my hard drive without any other modification. Surely there is more to it. You'll need to use something like some like DVD Shrink to extract to HDD, with correct language otherwise its luck of the draw. (obviously wont work with Intervideo NonCSS decoder, and PVR350 - sorry)
- Fixed the bug with playing music then playing a video. Caused white box with red cross to appear.
- Corrected a bug that was causing MediaMVP not to reshow the menus after video playback completed.
- Corrected a bug with MP3 playback on the MediaMVP.
- Small correction to apifix.dll that may help livetv stability.
- Lots of other small things.

I'm still working through some of the issues with LiveTV. Hauppauge Intervideo NonCSS decoder still doesn't like Live TV.

I'm still unsure what is stopping the MediaMVP support from working correctly on an NTSC MVP. I still looking into this.

A new skin called Red Sky is available on the skins page - http://www.gbpvr.com/skins.htm

I'm looking at this problem getting the Hauppauge Intervideo NonCSS decoder work. Even the simplest graph with this filter doesnt seem to work on my machine.

Can someone with Graphedit try the following graph on their machine and see if they get video played back? You'll need to set the properties on the reader filter to point to a valid file.

This did not work for me either. I'll try and look deeper into this later,

Colin.

the splitter is missing,

Thats weird! The above graph was generated automatically by Windows - incorrectly.

Thanks amontillado, I should be able to correct this graph.

LiveTV on the PVR 350 is much better in this release. I am very impressed with how well you have this working, when other companies haven't even shown us this working fully yet.

Two things.
Although the 350 is much more stable, I have noticed, that changing channels works 90% of the time. The card will sometimes lose the audio, and it will not come back until I restart GBPVR. Also, I get random system lockups when switching channels or between livetv and the main menu, but this is less often than before, so I am pretty sure you are on the right track.

The Hauppauge remote works with my wintv2000, but not in GBPVR. I had it working before I rebuilt my system (remember the d: drive issue ;-) ), but I don't know what was different to make it work with the interface.

mikejaner, if you open irremote.ini (in \windows\system32 I think), does it contain the references to GB-PVR?
