V0.0.7 can be downloaded from http://www.gbpvr.com/Setup007.exe

2003-12-29 v0.0.7
- Added support for USB-UIRT
- Improved stability of PVR350 Live TV support
- Start to change some of popup error message boxes into proper OSD messages.
- Automatically detect TV Format (PAL/NTSC) and adjust size of OSD accordingly
- Improved handling of internal tuner. Now also creating a log for this component (direct.log)
- Improved speed of startup and channel changing with Live TV (particularly when using PVR350).
- A few minor changes to the icon view. Primarily to get a bit more realestate for showing the preview images.
- Direct Recorder now using tuner input type (Cable/Antenna).

Hi Sub,
Thanks! I downloaded 007 and installed it. The idea is great, however, I get no sound on livetv and recordings. Though wint2000 does give sound and image.
Also, the first seconds of livetv show blocky image. THis disappears after several seconds. Pause works! Also the manual recording works. I have to try whether it also wakes the computer?

Playing music doesn't stop when pressing stop (Or, maybe only after several minutes). Also, using winamp playlists would be great!

I still have an issue that is not directly gbpvr related, but anoys me a lot: after waking from suspend, I get sound on the pvr, but no video. THus also no osd on the tvout. DO you, or anyone on this forum have a resolution? (I already reinstalled everything several times...).

Greetings,

MaBo

For me, playing music doesn't stop when I press stop only with using TV out - if using PC monitor only, the stop button works.

Cheers,
Andy

MaBo, did you get sound with the last release? I have fixed the potential problem for the next release, but I'm suprised no one noticed in the last release. Do you use the tuner, svideo or composite?

I'm running on XP and have just tried going into Standby, waking the machine up. GB-PVR seemed to work fine with PVR350 TV out. I'm running the 1.7.21337 drivers. Do I have to leave in Standby for certain amount of time before you see the problem?

I've added support for winamp .m3u playlist files in the next release.

Sub,
About the sound, I didn't have anything in livetv mode, so video without sound is a huge improvement ;-)  I use the PVR tuner and its tv-out.
Standby always causes the image to dissapear, no matter how long. Also wintv2k gives black screen and wintvcap records sound only. I'm using XP prof, but as I read many people are having problems with the latest drivers, I use the 21329 drivers from the 21288 driver release.

The .m3u playlists is great! When is the new release available;-)

BTW happy New Year Down Under! We still have to cross the line here in the Netherlands.
