I am currently maintaining EmuNation. I saw some threads here that thought they had trouble using the EmuNation plugin with GBPVR, but they were pretty old. Are people having trouble? Not having trouble? Or not using it? I think GBPVR is an excellent program, and myself and others have put some effort lately into trying to get the plugin to work for more people outside North America. So it would be a shame if GBPVR and Emunation didn't play well together

I would like to know how to proceed with Emunation and GBPVR?... Do we need to install a backbone like MT or DVBCORE... or other software or input the emunation coded directly to GBPVR?

The program works natively in GBPVR as a multidec plugin. You do not need a backbone program. You enable the multidec support in config and add the plugin to the MDPlugin folder. You also have to add a couple of other files and register a filter. I have not played with them in a while so I don't remember the names. Use the forum search "MDPlugin" and I am sure you will find everything you need.

Newcamd support is in, and apparently works with CSat at least. Should work for others as well.

Because I look at some other software like SageTv and Mediaportal for example and they all use Mytheater or DVBcore and other to stream the signal to the main software. I will rather use GBPVR and not having to use other third part software beside Emunation for un-encrypt signal.

But soccerdad I see that you build yourself an HTPC and thats my purpose by buying a Hauppauge DVB-S card... Have you ever play with DVB-S card and encrypted signal fro B& or D&...???
