clear watched shows?

my cdk hardly records shows anymore. the log says that its alreay been recorded before. I have taken the check off in the config program that removes duplicate recordings. how can i clear out what shows have already been watched so that it will record some new "old" shows?

I assume you're talking about the CDK Scheduler plugin, so I'll move your thread to a more appropriate subforum.

The XRecord plugin has a "Watched" menu that allows you to remove items from the watched list. If you have many titles to delete this could however take long since it's done one at a time.

If you rename rectracker.mdb to something else and reinstall XRecord you will get a brand new empty rectracker.mdb so nothing will be seen as duplicate for now. The fields in rectracker.mdb were recently increased so this option will give you the updated database structure.

If you know MS Access, you can clean up rectracker.mdb manually.

I'm sure KingArgyle has an xml setting to disable the checking for duplicates feature all together. Something like DuplicatesAllowed in PriorityRecordings.xml perhaps?

You can also set specific shows, so that Duplicates are recorded, and Duplicates are Schedule. The primary driver is the Duplicates Recorded. If you set these shows to true or yes, it will record shows that the Watch database has already said have been recorded.

This is controled on a recording by recording basis. You should be able to use the Advanced option or Power Options to change these settings.
