Ive seen the post and post on the new PVRX2 exe detailling that no overlay playback is possible now ..
I'm getting heavy jittering on live playback and recording playback.
the GBPVR exe is fine and displays fine still .. AVI playback is fine thru PVRX2 ...
My hardware should have enough horsepower.. see below.
Are there any drivers or settings I should be looking at here to get success with VMR9?

BTW sub, love the new interface.. very speccy .. and would like to use it ..
cheers pc

ftm my prev post .. VMR 7 and overlay is OK in gbpvr.exe 1.0.8.
all flavours (yes, we aussies spell it this way) of VMR9 are stuffed..
Recordings made in 1.0.8 are ok if played in WMP (overlay turned off) but crap if played back in PVRX2 . weird

will try the -fse switch.

sub, the new exe is much quicker in loading incl live tv TKS.

This makes me think its the decoder you're using for MPEG that is causing your problems.

I would definitely recommend that Microsoft patch above though.

Does this hotfix just do the same thing as replacing the quartz.dll as has been previously advised?

(I just want to check if I need to install this or not)

Thanks

GB-PVR has detected the following multiplex filters on your machine:

Found: InterVideo Multiplexer
FILE: C:\Program Files\InterVideo\WinDVD\ivimux_3.0.88.0_.ax
VERSION: 3.0.88.0

Found: CyberLink MPEG Muxer
FILE: C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\MpgMux_5.1.0.0.1307_.ax
VERSION: Ë´A~

These are two recommended versions .. right?

I have to say this community has a lot to be proud of..

the mux is not the decoder (mux for saving dvb stream as in digital tv signal to mpeg)

decoder will be listed under decoders playback tab in config payback decoder
you can download check tool for that from microsoft
video decoder checkup utility
