I have been using Xrecord for several versions--no porblems and I love the plugin (thanks!). I am currently putting together a new PC. As such I installed the new 1.0.16 on this new PC (did not bother to upgrade the old PC as it is just in place until I finish setting up the new PC). I then tried to install xrecord and it is not working. The installation seems to run with no errors, and it creates the uninstall program. However, I do not see xrecord listed in the plugins of the config program and it does not show up in the main programs menu either. I have tried installing and unistalling/reinstalling several times with both v0.49 and v0.50. Any suggestions? Could this be a problem with installing Xrecord on the new version (I assume most people are upgrading versions with Xrecord already installed)?

If you're using pvrx2 then it won't show. Create a directory called legacy under the plugins directory and move the xrecord plugins there, then they'll show up. I don't know if xrecord works with the new version though, or with schedules direct. Maybe someone else can help answer those two questions.

I haven't made the move to 1.0.x or schedules direct so I don't know what will break in XSuite other than the installer as mentionned above.

The installer for the beta version 0.50 now on the wiki works with 1.0.x. No need to manually move the plugins after installation.

I know this is kinda old, but does XRecord work w/ yapi2xml?

It should since XSuite gets the EPG data from gbpvr's database so it shouldn't matter where the EPG data came from. For zap2it there was some extra data that was used by XSuite (and others like EWA) and schedules direct also supplies this extra data. I will probably need to do some work to get that extra data from schedules direct to work but the normal EPG data should work for all sources.

To conclude this thread, the version of XSuite on the wiki now supports schedules direct.
