Do you own a Wii? If so do you use it regularly? If not do you plan on buying one soon?

I own one and use it at least twice a week.

Probably the only (current) console I would consider buying. Looks *different* and fun.

own one, use it once or twice a week. Been a little disappointed with the game selection that is available now. Sports is good, but I haven't seen any other killer titiles.
Kids have HP OOTP and say that is good, but zelda and others weren't that great.

Currently I have an Xbox (modded to run XBMC) and an Xbox360. I think if I bought another console, my wife would feel neglected. I mean more neglected. But I'd like to try out a Wii sometime.

#2) Celeron, @ 2.2 Ghz, Windows 2003 server SP1, 1Gig RAM, 2 x Hauppauge MCE-150s (running 24x7)
#3) PopCorn Hour.. I'm working on that one.

XBMC & 2 Hauppauge Media MVPs connecting to the server.. and a couple Terrabytes of kids shows.

I got my wii on launch day Smile waited outside a circuit city all night. what a sick little monkey I am.

as for other systems, in my apt. I have a xbox, dreamcast, and an N64, as well as 2 DS(s??).
other systems that I have owned (or my parents got for me and my brothers) are 2 Nintendos (NES), a super nintendo, sega genesis, sega saturn, Playstation, PS2, 3xGame boys (had 2 brothers), and a game gear: these are all somewhere in my parents house. I also gave my Gamecube away to my girlfriend's brothers when i got the wii, since its fully backwards compatible.

I have a dreamcast that comes out for parties.
Sometimes i'll get in some Gauntlet action.

I just don't have time to play many video games or learn them.
I've been playing WOW a couple of times a week for a few months & still havn't mastered the interface or all the things I can do.

It's embaracing when some 15 yr old has to tell you how to trade stuff.

I wouldn't have time for one if I had it.

Remember when sega said that the dreamcast was unhackable because it used a GDROM? Little while later every single game was available on the net and didn't require any modding. Great platform.

Owned a Sega master system back in the old days. Wasn't my kind of thing.
Tried Xbox but there are to many freaking buttons on that controller.
I just gave up on the consoles, can wake me up for some FPS deathmatch on the PC though. Nice and simple; run and shoot everything that moves.

I have a Wii and love it. My son and I play it about every other day. Favorite game right now is Resident Evil 4... it is by far the best gaming experience I have ever had. The wife likes sports, and Rayman. Picking up Metroid tomorrow. Played through Zelda and Paper Mario... both were very fun. We're waiting for the new Mario, that surgery game, Umbrella Chronicles, and a couple of others my son has his eye on. Virtual console is great for the old games. Wii sports is a blast on block party weekends with a little spirits thrown in... it never gets old, and the party usually migrates to our house. I definitely recommend the system.
