Flash Gordon on SCI-Fi

Who has seen it?
Lot's of people on Sci-Fi boards campaigning to have it cancelled they hate it so much.

Personally, I kinda like it.

I can recognize it isn't a great show, but I never really expected it to be.

I'm just looking to see what other's think.

I've been watching it and trying to give it some time before I give it up. It's kind of crappy so far but sometimes I just like to watch stuff so light I don't even have to think. :o
Remember the movie? How bad was that? They've just continued it. They have a habit of resurrecting old shows too.
Remember the line, "Flash, I love you! But we only have 14 hours to save the Earth! Flash!"?
That about says it.

On a similar subject, what about Painkiller Jane? I'm starting to like the characters but I wonder if this show is pulling in enough ratings.

Exactly on the no thinking part.
I can tune into Flash, drink a beer & get some eye candy.
That princess is right out of the original movie.

Pain killer jane does seem interesting.
I've watched a few episodes.
It's something I only recently discovered.

Snake movies LOL!

There is a new one with that Feedback guy from last seasons who wants to be a super hero.

OK, now that show is hilarious!!

It's like fear factor meets survivor & dumps the batchelor.

Plus watching dudes run accross a yard with an attack dog clamped onto each of their arms seems fairly impressive to me. LOL!

He must of been young when he did smallville because I never would of recognized him.

What about the new Bionic Woman and Sarah Connor Chronicles coming??

A friend downloaded both and sent me a copy and I've watched them both. Sarah Connor Chronicles need some work but it wasn't that bad. I felt it had something to grow on.
Bionic Woman might survive on SciFi channel but I doubt on network TV in the states. Nothing surprises me anymore about what is popular and what is not but I'd be surprised if it lasted long. If they put it on before or after a show like Heroes or the like, it might make it.

Painkiller Jane has been cancelled..
it was just getting interesting too...
decent characters, imaginative writing...tho some of them were cliche buckets, most were inventive...
only a few shows left..write the studios...

yea, so far unimpressed with Flash..more comedy/action is needed...
i hope they don't wanna try to be a drama/sci-fi/comedy all at the same time..
the original was such a farcical play on sci-fi movies/comics, this one just seems like it wants to be too much a drama...

More crazy zany aliens and crappy FX and fun action!!
ok, so we get that Dale and he had a thing...get on with it...!

maybe now that the backstory setup is over, maybe there'll be something interesting coming out..

Thats funny, I preferred bionic woman, thought It had more "room to move" as a show than SCC. Will have to see how they go when they air.

Whois airing the Bonic Woman? Painkiller Jane was terrible! Come on you know it was.. Some SCFI movies are okay and some just plain stupid.. NO MORE SNAKE MOVIES OKAY ENOUGH OF THE CRAP! Every movie is shot in the basement of a boiler room for everything they use. If they go outside it looks the same. Why can they take the SG1 Battleship Series and make a series out of that? So what it would look like another StarTrek, but they got Thor race tech weapons.. Oh well something better give soon...

NBC is airing BW and I think it starts in late September.

SG1 was truly a show that gave us some great imagination. Not many out there now.
