Greenie here needing help

sorry to take you back to the stone ages for this question, but here goes: i'm not sure how to install the patches i see on the 1.00.16 survival guide. i'm trying to get schedule direct to work with my new install (had v99 going good w/ zip2it), but when i download the patch i think i should be copying to the gbpvr subdirectory, but i am not allowed. any help with a greenie. thanks

First thing is to shut down GBPVR and stop its services. If they are running then the patch (which is just copying a .dll over the existing one) won't work since Windows won't let you replace the file that is already in use.

Try it and see what happens.

Thanks boaz, got it to work. i was trying to extract the zip onto the subdirectory, but got that windows won't work window. thought i had shut everything down, but maybe i missed something. got it going now. thanks a ton.
