There was I, carelessly browsing through some output from TSReader when these words caught my eye
Quote:ISO/IEC 13818-6 Descriptor
I thought "what's that then?" - so I googled it - BIG mistake  - this is what I got - and it's just an amendment Rolleyes - where did I go wrong

Careful - the water gets deep.

Try Googling for iso13818-1.pdf - it makes good bedtime reading. Smile

Make sure you don't accidentally click on the Print button though - unless you've got plenty of paper/ink in your printer.

ETSI EN 300 468 is also a good addition to the above to understand DVB-T.

Have fun. Big Grin

Cheers,
Brian

Thanks Brian - I was scared to go any further in case I fell into a black hole in the www and couldn't get out again. But you've obviously been there and got back again... so off we go... Wink

It was sub that pointed me in the direction of the iso13818-1 PDF file - I was actually trying to dismantle a dvr-ms file (another back-burner project) and wanted to compare how MS embed the MPEG-2 video.

The ETSI document I came across by chance but it's quite useful for understanding explicit implementations of the iso TS/PS specs from a dvb point of view.

I haven't looked at the other iso13818-x specifications as I don't need them.

Cheers,
Brian
