Is there a way through the GBPVR class libraries to get a list of cap. sources? I can obviously 'peek' into the DB directly but would prefer an approved method if there is one.

Cheers,

No, not really. This type of stuff isnt exposed externally.

OK - at least what I want to do doesn't require writing to the DB so it's a bit less hazardous than if it did.

I have some code that you can use for this. It's in a utility I created to add the HDHomeRun entries to the bda.ini. It's on an old drive but I can get it to you later tonight.

Thanks, but what I need is for a plugin to be able to identify a list of BDA cap. sources that a user has configured on their machine, and to be able to identify one which is available for use.

I can do this with a SQLite data connection and pulling the data from the gbpvr.db3. Once I have a list of cap. sources, I can check their status for availability etc.

Cheers,
Brian

Ah, I misunderstood. I thought you wanted the a list of capture devices on the machine, not just the ones configured for GB-PVR.

No worries. I'm basically looking at trying not to confict with normal GB-PVR activity so enumerating cap. sources and being able to monitor status etc. is the key to this.

Cheers,
Brian
