This would be an awesome set-top box, I think:

Only things I didn't like:
Only room for 1 hard drive - This probably isn't going to be your video server, unless you attach an external SATA drive.
No composite/S video out - Although, DVI out will probably drive most Flat panels today
Little room for capture cards - Would definitely have to be driven by a Media server

However, I think it'll be an awesome little box for a set-top remote.
