When I was running v99.12 I was able to set both of my MVP's to the same net radio channel and they would play in sync with each other. It's great for streaming music through the whole house. But since the upgrade to 1.0.16 and then 1.1.5 they won't play in sync any longer. There is a a delay between them now. Has the behavior of GBPVR changed with respect to this?

I cant imagine how you ever managed to get them in sync in the past. The MVP servers were never designed to do this, and if it ever worked for you in the past it was just luck.

It just always worked for me in v99.12. I thought that perhaps the server had them share a data stream when they both requested the same URL. But they haven't been in sync once since I upgraded to v1.x.x and use PVXR2. I was hoping that it was something in the app that made it happen. I must have just been lucky before. Sad

I am so glad you said that. I know some effort has been spent looking into how some something similar might be done with mvpmc's Slimserver interface but because of the hardware and software buffers, we basically wrote off the possibility even when the server was actually trying to do this.

No, its never done anything like that. They've always been done independently.

Yep.
