Save a UiStatic out as a jpg

Is there a way of getting the "image" generated by a UiStatic object and then saving it out as a jpg?

Not really.
You could create a bitmap of some arbitrary size, then iterate through the renderlist, doing a DrawImage() of each image onto the bitmap using the relative position info associated with each GBPVRUiElement object.

Actually... a UiStatic will probably always have a single GBPVRUiElement object in its renderlist, so you can probably just grab the image directly.
