xml file checker

Is there anybody out there like me who has missed programs because the program that is being used to create the XML file failed to get all the data? I have, therefore I wrote my own program http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Utility/Djkxml
Which I will start a new more effective version shortly.

But that's not why I started this tread. Regardless of what XML program you use, wouldn't it be good to have an external program to check it?

Hi Oz,
I'm not entirely sure what your new program does but do look forward to seeing it released.

But I note:

And we are trying to do this without the user needing to bother with Batch files.

Does this mean it will be a plugin for GBPVR?

Anyway, This little program I wrote is meant only for a batch file so that it can be run completely independent of GBPVR and more importantly, independent of the XML grabber. And then it can start other external programs (like email or text messaging) if there are errors within the XML file.

So I think there is still an audience out there for it. I wrote the original of this program over a year ago (due to a bad xml creator I was using) and found it extremely useful and thought I might try to give back to the community. What I’m trying to say is: If users like it, use it, if not don’t. I will always use it as I like the separateness of it.
