It seems that getting the hang of how to upload updated stuff to the wiki is one of the most frequent questions I get.
So here is a step by step instuction:

1) Start by adding "?action=upload" to the end of the url of your target page in your browser (e.g. http://www...../SkinScan?action=upload)

2) Enter the name the uploaded file should have in the box after "Name attachment as:"
NOTE! Do not use spaces in file names, as this is reported to not work correctly.
(Since you are not allowed to remove any files, you should probably keep it as it is.)

3) Browse to your local file you want to upload (The file will be renamed once you upload it.) on your local machine

4) Hit upload

5) Post questions here, if something is unclear ;-)

How do we create a new page that isn't there? Under Utilities I want to add the AddReOccuring utility I made for doing keyword searches from the command line.

Short answer: create link, view page, click on question mark.
(I have already added the entry in the left side bar, so you can just click there :-)

Long answer: To get everything working together, there's three places you need to add the link at. See
ReadMeFirst - So how do I add my own plugin description? Changing the word "Plugin" for "Utilities" as you read...
More info is availible at PmWiki/CreatingNewPages

I'll help you out as you go along...

Blader,

Tried to upload the AddReOccuring, and when I hit the upload button I get the following error.

PmWiki can't process your request

?cannot move uploaded file to /home/bladerhq/public_html/pmwiki/uploads/Utilities/AddReOccuring.zip

We are sorry for any inconvenience.

Hmm, I have to look into how apache works, especially when creating new directories.....

Anyway, I've hacked it so it works for me now, and hopefully for all others as well ;-)

The edit button is at the bottom of the side-bar.
(I saw that you have already found that out [Image: smile.gif]

Thanks. On a different note, is there a way to see how often things are downloaded. I am curious to know if anyone is using the plug-ins and such that I post. I know a few people are because I get a few bug reports now and then, but like Jorm I don;t really have a feel for how many people are using these things.
