HP MCE Remote and IR Receiver?

Guys,

I was wondering if anyone had the experience of using the HP MCE remote (5069-8344) and receiver (OVU400103) with GBPVR. I was just wondering if it worked better than the hauppauge.

Any feedbacks would greatly be appreciated.
