Sat Radio Plugin

It would be great if there was a plugin kind of like Net radio that allowed tuning to FTA satelite music channels. I would like just to be able to pick a station and listen to it. No recording would be needed. This type of plugin would be great for video as well. This would allow watching of channels without having to map EPGs which can be a pain in NA. I know this is not a PVR thing, but it would add another level of function. Thinking about it, if we could just have an interface in PVRX2 like is used when you preview the channels for mapping in config.

Oh, I forgot, it would be great if it worked thru the MVP (I don't think they are AC3)

Do you have any links to information on true FTA Satellite radio here in N. America.

Well I guess my definition of FTA is that it is not encripted and does not need a multidec plugin to listen to it. Using that, then there are a bunch on 110 and 119. Look at http://www.lyngsat.com/echo7.html Also on echo8/10 on lyngsat. Lyngsat lists them as free and they work and sound great. (on dvbdream)
