Would like to gather some info on the use and creation of XML schemas. Do you guys know of any good sources? Online materials preferable.

Hi

I'm slowly collecting data into my Excel sheets and generating XML files for TV and radio. I have searched the web for data, but haven't found anything.
You have seen the TV icons. I will probably add web links to that XML as I have done for the radio. Look at this link, where you can see the XML

http://startop.homeftp.net/mcs/radio/se/_view_radio.asp

http://startop.homeftp.net/mcs/radio/nz/_view_radio.asp

I don't know if it this kind of data you where asking for ... or C# code.
Best Regards

My favourite quick background is here: http://www.w3schools.com/default.asp
If you want to manipulate/validate XML files, XML-Schema's and DTD's than XMLSpy from Altova is a good tool. I think there is still a free version of it.

All I can see is a trial version, do you have a link?

Having said that it may be a little overkill for my needs, are there any free tools that can validate an XML file against a schema and help with debugging the schema?

I know it's a little sad answering your own question but I found an Open Source alternative to XML spy with the help of OSALT.com.

Sorry, they probably dropped the free version. I looked at the alternative you found. It seems perfect for most purposes.
