Let me start by saying thank you for this product. I have tried both the Hauppage 1600 and Pinnacle PCTV HD cards and the OEM software just plain stinks. I have been using this program for all of two days and found it much easier to setup, much better quality and ten times the features. I especially like the web interface for accessing from other computers. Big Grin

Now for the problem I am having Sad

I know that it is experimental, but when I turn processing on, It converts one file for about 10-11 minutes or 38 MB and then deletes the file and starts over. It never makes it past the first file and just keeps repeating until the time is up.

Any suggestions on what I can do to fix this?

My log files are attached.

Whats the ouput of MuxChecker on your machine?

Also, set the logging level back to debug and repost the logs.

GB-PVR has detected the following multiplex filters on your machine:

Found: CyberLink MPEG Muxer
FILE: C:\Program Files\devnz\cyberlink_mux\MpgMux(5.0.0.1307).ax
VERSION: 5.0.1307

If you're running WinXP SP1 or higher, you will also be able to use the built-in DVR-MS mux filter

Ok, set the logging level back to debug then reproduce the problem and repost the logs. I'll take a look.

I'm not really sure. There is no obvious cause in the logs.

For kicks and grins, I started the convert program using the following command line (I changed the output path, but the rest is straight from the GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log file.)

C:\Windows\system32>"C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\GBPVRConvert.exe" "C:\Users\mi
ke\Videos\Capture\Video\MASH\MASH_20071208_18001830.dvr-ms" "C:\Users\mike\Video
s\Capture\Video\MASH_20071208_18001830-temp.mpg" MPEG-2

It is not done yet, but it has been processing for over 30 minutes now.
I will let you know if it completes successfully.

Some ATSC users have had problems like this with the Cyberlink mux (which is used behind the scenes by GBPVRConvert.exe). Unfortunately there isnt anyway around other than trying another version of the Cyberlink mux and hoping you get lucky.

I am trying the last of the ones that I have. So far they are all a bust.

Are there any good sources to get additional ones to try?

http://www.oldversion.com has a lot of the old cyberlink programs, that could help you.
