Screen Saver (picture slide show)

upgraded to 1.1.5
set picture slide show to default.
however it tried to kick in but when i look at the PVRX2.exe.log file i get the following error section

There are some of the default sample xp jpgs that come with XP in the folder but none display.

any ideas?

Without logs I'm only guessing, but I would say the error is due to their being no images in the folder you've set it to use.

I think you may find that this is just a shortcut to the "shared pictures" folder and not actual images that the plugin can use.

have copied some jpg's into my pictures folder and deleted microsofts standard sample folder / link.

these jpg display ok in the picture library but when copied to my pictures i get nothing. all the other screen saver things work fine, clock etc.

have attached log files.

Logs look ok, it just looks like it can't find any images. Can you double check the path you're using is valid and correct? What's the value of the <PictureSlideshowSourcePath> config entry in your config.xml file?

Also, try using c:\picstest or somthing, just in case it a My Documents permissions thing.

took you advice, copied some pitctures in c:\picktest, modified config file and all works.
