Run any CMD or Script?

What plugin exists that I can use to run any .exe or .cmd (that will launch an exe with command line parameters)?

I would like to launch an Apple II emulator with parameters to autostart with a disk image.

You could try the emulator plugin, gamezone I think.

Yeah, custom tasks should work fine in 1.1.5.

If you want to run batch files you'll probably need to set the executable to c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe, and the args to "/C C:\path\to\batchfile.bat".

funny you should mention they should work - i setup a autoit script to move my daughters tv programs from the gui so i added in a couple of custom tasks - but they dont show up in the gui - do you know about this or is it something new ?

I just checked it and it seems to working fine for me in 1.1.5.

After adding the custom task, and OK'ing out of the config app, the next time you start it and view the plugins list you should see your new custom task listed as one of the plugins (and ticked), hit OK again then start PVRX2 and it should show on the menu.

I have been trying to set up custom tasks on my client and none show up in the menu.

I have one set on the server and it shows up just fine.

Custom tasks are defined in the database. A client PC uses the server's database, and as such will ignore any tasks defined in the client PC's local database.

so if I set it up on the server I should be able to get it on the client??
if I have a .bat file in there, and I run it from client, does it need to be written as if it is running on the client, or running on the server??
