Are you open to another couple of UI suggestions?

Promote Date and Server Time to main heading - deserves to be visible from any tab.
Promote Manual Record to a tab - again deserves to be visible from any tab.

I did a quick mockup in PS

Try the newest beta here. CSS screens are all done....still have a couple of small bugs that I am working on but the Admin page is now complete.

Note: For this beta just load it over your existing web directory.......I removed a folder which apparently is triggering the GBPVR reinstall which will revert EWA back to the GBPVR shipping version (67 I think).

I installed the beta on two gbpvr servers. I used two different machines to run EWA against one server each. One remote machine looks like the first pic. The other remote machine and both the servers look like the second pic. I installed over 12 hours ago and I've refreshed all the tabs, but it could be a new incarnation of the ".net and files in the future" thing. Guide.aspx displays unformatted also.

Why do I manage to keep breaking things...Sad

Go to the config tab and select Prototype as your default theme and click submit.

Let me know.

Prototype was already showing as the default theme, but I pulled down the combo box and selected Prototype again, clicked submit and pages now being rendered correctly (although I still fancy the Manual Record button as a tabWink) - this fixed the two servers and one of the machines (the ones from pic 2) - the pic 1 machine doesn't display a config tab (as well as some others) so I can't do that - I tried manually changing my browser address without luck - however, I've seen this before and I think it might be a network access related problem, it may fix itself overnight now its server is OK. I'll let you know...

Alex

Edit: definitely a permissions sort of problem - via the address bar I can get to Statistics and Logout, but not Episode Search or Config.

Close your browser and go back in or click on the logout and then click on guide.....you lost the session variable that tells ewa whether you are a guest user or not.....guest users do not have access to the config or search tabs.

Let me know.

After I manually Logout, I can see the config tab (partially formated) and logon again - unfortunately there is no submit link. Logging out and selecting guide makes no change.

Failing machine is 'logged on' to old sbs server, working machines are logged on to new sbs server - convinced it's a network problem here, so unless you think it's worth following up for debugging reasons, please don't waste too much time on it, although I'm happy to carry on (it's now my test system).

Here is a late night beta......this should fix the scrolling in the Manage Recordings tab when you click on cancel as well as not causing the gbpvr auto reinstall to occur so you can go back to following the standard install instructions.

edit: New beta found here.

I installed on the failing (pic 1) machine and also on the associated server. At first it was still rendering incorrectly, but after I had manually logged out using the address bar, I was then able to manually get into config which rendered correctly, I reselected Prototype and Submit - all rendering problems now resolved.

I then Cancelled a pending recording and scroll position was retained. I did notice a small problem with the mouse pointer behaviour though... if I move the mouse pointer over the border of the Cancel button, I get the standard selection pointer (hollow arrow pointing up and to the left) - when I move the pointer over the middle of the Cancel button, I get the standard text insertion pointer. Does not affect functionallity though.

BTW the layout of the new Admin tab is sooo much clearer than the old one. This is one impressive piece of software - thanks.
