I hope not but sometimes I feel like it. A friend sent me this Youtube video called Middle Ages Tech Support and I am sharing it as I think most of us can relate to at least of of the characters.

i like the part at the end where he closes it and can't figure out how to open it again because it's backwards...hehe sometiems the unexpected makes us idiots..Smile

yep, i get that feeling all the time with my customers...
i mean when you have a 100+wpm typer suddenly reduced to 1 finger typing, it just seems odd...
computers are just thought of as being so 'new' 'fantastic' and complicated, that people forget their basic mental tools to deal with it.. forgetting it's an electrical appliance so needs to be plugged in, or you obviously can't print to a printer that isn't connected in at least some way, etc..Smile

same reason *some* older people with really high IQ's can't do what a 5 year old can when it comes to electronics..Big Grin

and we all have those "Duh!" moments on occasion...Wink

I have to agree there:eek:.
Although the best duh-moment happened to my very computer-savvy son (21), when he wanted to turn his laptop off by trying to get the mouse arrow to the (physical) on/off button of the laptop, it's just beneath the screen.Big Grin
