Hi,
I `m new to gbpvr, It looks like a great app, congratulations to dev team.
I live NA and in the past I `ve used progdvb and Dvb dream with success but GbPvr looks a lot more promising. I did a lot of reading on your board.
This is what I have:
HW
CPU: E2140
Ram: 2GB (2X1GB)
MB: Gigabyte G31 chipset, I`m using the onboard VGA
DVB: Twinhan 102g w/1238 BDA driver
Also there is a Hauppauge PVR150 w/ driver and application CD 3.4d1 installed
DN superdish and DP34 switch
SW
Win XP pro SP2
Cyberlink Power DVD 6(2Channel oem)
MS VC++ redistribution pack 2005 SP1
MS .Net 2.0
Emunation 3006
Mdapi from your site, w/mdapifilter dated 12/06/06
DvbDream 1.4g
GbPvr 1.1.5
I have the ffdecsa.dll and mdapifilter.ax (the contents of mdapi) along with the pthreadvc2.dll (from emunation) in the C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr directory and the other emunation files in the C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\MDPlugins directory.
I ran regsvr32 "c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\mdapifilter.ax" to register.
I also checked the mdapi box under Misc in Config.
Questions:
To test I only scanned echo7 119w, I have found some channels, but noticed that it scans 42 tps, if I`m not mistaken there are only 28 tps on 119w. I also get a lot of channels with no names. In any case I did not get the 400+ channels that are on 119w. I used:
LOF1=11250
LOF2=14350
and left the middle parameter blank because I didnt know whats the correct value. Could this cause a problem?
I started Gbpvr, the mdapi icon is visible, so I go into log and and seems that it crashes after a few seconds. I reboot, start gbpvr and know its running like 20-25 min , the log file only has 2 entries:
20:26:25: MDAPI_CHANNELCHANGE
20:26:23: MDAPI_GET_VERSION: MD-API Version 01.03 - 01.06
Is this normal?
Do I need to setup the epg in order Gbpvr to function, because I skipped that part?
I read that Gbpvr does not support the Epg through the dvb stream in NA is that true ?
Thanks
