I have a few questions about using MVP. I replaced the dongle that came with GBPVR with the latest MVPMC dongle 0.3.4 i believe was the version number. This version says it supports flac however i cannot get flac to work through mvp. Another issue i have is that TV stutters when playing..cuts in and out etc.. BTW I am using the wireless version of MVP. I dont think it is a bandwidth issue because i can play avi's fine and from what i understand this uses more resources than TV. I appreciate any help in both these matters.

Regarding FLAC, although mvpmc supports it in native mode, sub hasn't made any changes to GBPVR to that would use any mvpmc enhancement yet I'd like to see true FLAC support to. To get FLAC files to work with GBPVR takes a bit of work, because the ffmpeg that is distributed with GBPVR doesn't understand .fla extensions and .flac files crash GBPVR a force failure error so I just updated ffmpeg to a newer version.

If your problems with livetv are with mvpmc only I can't help. Hauppauge can't provide any information on the wireless drivers and frankly the project team were lucky that Jon the project lead, figured them out as much as he did. However not just because avi files work doesn't mean that processing livetv is less bandwidth intensive.

Thanks for all the info. Just a little more explanation. I can play flac in gbpvr from my pc. Its only from the mvp that i cant seem to play them. I can pretty well play anything in gbpvr from my pc including ape, flac etc. At any rate if thats the only issue i have with it i guess it isnt that bad. GBPVR is an awesome piece of software and much much better than the Hauppauge software for MVP. I also apologize for my ignorance as far as the bandwidth issue.
