Hello all!

I've used GB-PVR since 2003 with Hauppauge PVR-150 and later with HVR-1300. Now I need IPTV support. I've searched WiKi and forums, but can't find any IPTV related info. Does GB-PVR (PVRX2) has any IPTV plugins available?

Currently my TV provider is providing TV via ADSL2+ ATM packets as multicast IPTV. My router does ATM -> Ethernet conversion and provides me MPEG2TS and/or AVC (in MPEG-TS) streams in IGMP multicast packets. All GB-PVR is needed to subscribe to ie. 239.3.1.1 UDP:1234 stream and there is already MPEG2TS. There are some utilities available utilizing VLC, but I'm big fan of GBPVR. Is there any possibility to use GB-PVR for this? :-)

Take a looke at the GraphRecorder plugin. It will do what you want. You will need a network source filter.

Alternatively, you could write your own source filter. I did pretty much did what you want with the HDHomeRun.

Hello! This GraphRecorder requires .GRF files to be preproduced by GraphEdit. But unfortunately I'm unable to get any of downloaded network source filters to run properly in graphedit. I've tried MV network source filter and Elecard nwsource-plus, with Elecard player it works, but in graphedit I'm unable to feed filter with multicast source. Could anybody help me out? IPTV channels are feeded via multicast ie. udp://239.3.1.1:1234, udp://239.3.2.1, etc.

Is there only one program or "channel" on each address?

I think that I have read that the Ubustream plugin supported IPTV too.

You didn't want to record the output of the Uverse settop box?
