The response from within search wiz v1.0.12.0 seems very sluggish for me (mouse and item selection). I did not notice this with an earlier version (not sure which one). i am running a 2.66mhz core 2 duo so the performance issue is surprising to me (os is vista). Also, I get booted back to the main menu sometimes after selecting a new filter. Anyone have any idea what i might have messed up? Thanks.

Can you run a couple of queries and post your pvrx2.exe.log? I won't get to research this til next Monday when I get back home, so you may want to bump this thread early next week if I don't respond.

The attached log file should have captured an occurrence of being dumped to main menu after loading a filter. The sluggish behavior was present prior to this when selecting the filter. Thanks for the help.

I now believe the sluggishness problem is related to the Vista 'aero' interface. Turning off the 'aero' interface and using the 'basic' interface instead seems to solve this problem for me. My current video card is only a PCI interface and a windows rating of 2. I am guessing a low-cost PCI-Express x16 video card will fix this problem and allow me to return to using the 'aero' interface.

However, it should be noted that other windows/apps seem to perform ok with my current video card (both gbpvr and non-gbpvr). Just the Search Wiz windows are sluggish.

The occasional dump back to the main menu after loading a new filter still occurs, even with 'aero' turned off.
