Hi,

I was not sure if it's the right forum to post this, but I've managed to get the Satelco EasyWatch PCI DVB-S2 card working under GB-PVR using the following lines to be used in the BDA.INI :

Code:
[Satelco EasyWatch PCI DVB-S2]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-S
RECEIVER_ONLY_MODE=1
FILTER_RECEIVER=Satelco EasyWatch PCI DVB-S2 Tuner (BDA)
PIN_RECEIVER_IN=Input0
PIN_RECEIVER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

Since that the Satelco devices are based upon KNC1 hardware, you can possibly use these lines with KNC1 hardware in combination with the 1.7.x.x BDA drivers. The new BDA drivers use the same tuner/capture name, and I only got it working using the FILTER_RECEIVER option.

I'm not sure if GB-PVR supports DISEQC commands on the Satelco/KNC1 hardware in combination with the 1.7.x.x BDA drivers. I'm doing a scan now on my primary sat and I hope to test others later.

Cheers - I'll include it in the master file.

The diseqc wont work with this device.

I figured this out just now :x Any chance you may add support for DISEQC commands?

BTW, there's one 'bug' when using my config. The quality and signal is allways 0. But scanning and tuning is no problem.

Unfortunately every manufacturer does diseqc a different way (it isnt covered by BDA spec). I dont a device from this manufacturer or any information on the private/proprietary interface they added for diseqc, so there is no way for me to add this at this stage. Sorry.

A device is no problem, I got a KNC1 DVB-S lying around which I don't use. I can simply send it to you, could take a couple of weeks though when it arrives Wink

Ok, but I'd still need some info from the manufacturer on how they implement diseqc support. I've emailed them to ask for details on this. If they come back with any info, I'll give you my address so you can send the card over.

Ok, I'll keep it around then Wink

BTW, I know for a fact that Mediaportal TVE3 has DISEQC support for KNC1 devices, including the latest BDA drivers. Since it's opensource and all, maybe worth a shot.
