When I have program descriptions and/or Genres turned on nearly every program entry in Guide2 has its own vertical scrollbar which I find obscures things - the scroll bar removes a good 20% of the space in each entry.

Could we have a option to disable vertical scroll bars in the program guide entries? I'd be quite happy to use the mouseover tooltip to see the full text if its to long to fit.

Thanks - Lindsay

In the config tab uncheck the Descriptions check box in the Programme Items to Display area. You can still see the full description in the mouse-over when you hover over the title.

Yes, I know I can do that - but I like being able to see the descriptions in line, its just my epg has excessively long descriptions when the first few lines will do - I'd prefer it just to be chopped off rather than scrollable.

Its no biggie however,

thanks - Lindsay

You can turn them off in the CSS file.....

in the guide.css file you just need to set the overflow-y:auto; to be overflow-y:none; in the area that starts with:

Code:
.listing, .listingPending, .listingInProgress, .listingAvailable, .listingFailed, .listingConflict, .listingReoccurring, .listingDeleted, .expandedListing

Thanks John!

p.s. needed to be "hidden" rather than "none"

Depends on browser I believe....none works in IE7.

I think none cause the text to resize its container (50 lines of text!) whereas hidden crops the text.
