Martin,

When I used the MVP last night, I pressed the blue button on the remote to show the OSD as I do often to check time of show left and skips etc., the MVP exited ungracefully on the Blue Button Press, repeatable every time.

I don't know what caused this, I can only think it is the patches I installed recently for the PCH as nothing else changed (apart from a MovieWiz Plugin update).

I attach logs, note that the time is 22:48 to around 22:5X on the 25th only. Her's a sample of MVP.exe log

Code:

I'm away from my MVP today, but bump the thread tomorrow and I'll try it here.

Your logs show the device as an MVP by the MAC address but it does indicate that the MVPClientType is a PCH. You might have a config.xml problem. Nonetheless the crash is at the server side.

I am seeing this error exactly on the PCH when I try and play an MPEG file that has an SRT file. My PVRX2.exe is newer than jksmurf's.

ok, interesting.

jksmurf, do you know if your file also had an SRT file?
