There are some changes coming due to version 7.+ being out, which include better album art support.

Any suggestions and comments, post them here instead of the MusicLibrary2 thread so it doesn't clutter up real support issues with skinning issues.

Here is a change to the Media popup to add the composer field. I think I need to make the album art a bit larger.

Edit:
Here is an update with larger album art.

This shows no composer field in the playlist view. This will be the default skin file.

This shows the composer field in the playlist view. This will be a skin file called Composer-skin.xml that you would have to manually rename.

Pretty. What theme is that? I may have to switch...I like the dark ones.

The Media popup seems to function OK. As a matter of fact I would not need album art there, because I have already seen it in the lower left corner, before the popup opens.

The 'composer' playlist gives me problems. The composer field is not being filled. I can force it to fill if I scroll downwards in the list. If I restore my own skin.xml, everything is functioning fine again. This different behaviour has been consistent over 6 skin changes. I do not understand why this can happen.

The above tests were made with GBPVR. I did one change cycle on MVP(=pvrx2) which gave equal results. In addition I noticed on the big screen that readability was not good enough for us. A black background might be better for me

I cannot explain why that would be caused by the skin?? It doesn't seem to make sense. I'll have to look at the skin again and maybe it is due to positioning of the composite image in the listbox.

That is something that is hard to judge.

It simply due to an eye problem that I have. Also for printed materials I have difficulty reading texts from colored background. Esthetically I prefer your layouts above what I need. So don't bother.

Yes it is strange. I noticed that I have the same behaviour with the saved M3U lists in ML2, where I only see the contents after having scrolled through the list. That problem I see both with the original skin, and with your new skins. It also happens with both GBPVR and PVRX2. Mysterious.

You could always use the SkinPlugin and select different text backgrounds and List backgrounds, while keeping the same general scheme.
