PCH hang

Went to play an mp3 and it hung. Errors towards end of log.

You'd probably need the telnet log to go with that. It indicates the connection was dropped for some unknown reason.

If I had to guess, it looks like sub is sending too many screen updates too fast eventually causing a collisions. Some things look like they are being sent every 3 ms.

Bit too unpredictable to get a telnet log. We'll just have to tuck it away and see if it happens again.

Not sure why but I had this happen to me yesterday. I was playing som music (through ML3) and all of a sudden the PCH froze and I was not able to get it to respond to the remote (no computer powered up and about to put the kids to bed so I did not try to telnet into it).

After I powered it up it wont boot into GBPVR on the first try. Not sure it did prior to this problem either though, have not powered the unit off completely since implementing index.html
All I get on startup is a white screen and a path in the PCH in the upper left corner of the screen (/opt/.... cannot remember the exact path). Perhaps my index.html is trying to load too fast (just downladed the file from the WIKI and put it in my share folder)?

This doesn't surprise me, on top of having it's own bugs, I think ML3 needs to be modified to be compatible with the NMT. psycik has given me the source though so I will see what I can do.

This was my experience all along when I was trying to do my own index.html http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=3...stcount=22 I think the problem is timing of the receipt of the broadcast name and the automount of the share.

I suspected that, not a big issue at all for me right now as I mostly use the NMT/GBPVR for recording an viewing TV. And there it works very well.

But a working ML3 would be really nice Smile
