Has anyone else seen VLC start up by itself?
This morning, I heard some music coming from my study - turns out that VLC had started playing one of my recordings out of nowhere.
This evening, I went upstairs & noticed that VLC was up on the screen just sitting there.
For now, I've closed all the ports on my firewall. SuperAntiSpyware or AVG haven't turned up anything & I don't see anything suspicious in the event viewer.
I'm also posting this over at videolan.org, but wondered if anyone here has seen anything like that...

a cat was my first guess too. Nothing like waking up in the middle of the night to hear your PC playing "ding, ding, ding" and your cat standing on the keyboard with her face pressed up against the speaker yowling at the top of her lungs.
