http://www.epgtools.com/Plugins/Netflix/...Beta81.zip

If you were using the alpha version of the plugin, please see posts 307 and 308 of the old thread: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=2...tcount=307

Requirements:
GBPVR 1.x running PVRx2
CommonGBPVRUtilities.dll (if you do not have it, you can use the attached copy)

Installing the plugin:
Unzip the files to the devnz\gbpvr folder.
Run GBPVR config to enable and configure the plugin.

Configuring the plugin:
In the plugin Config settings, select your Poster and Movie Cache folders.
Select the default bitrate to be downloaded.
Select whether or not you want to display movie posters in the list. If turned off, posters will not be downloaded in the background.
If you want to display Watch Now movies from your Queue, enter your Personalized RSS ID.

On the "Categories" tab, select the categories that you want displayed.

Setting up Netflix:
Log in to the Netfix website and make sure you select the "Remember me" option.
Install the Netflix Watch Now player.

Using the plugin:
Select a category on the left to display.

Whenever the plugin is activated, it will check for a newer version of the movie list. If a newer list of movies is available, you will be notified by a popup with the option to download the new list or not.

Sorting the list:
You can change the sort order of the list by pressing <CTRL> + S (or the stop button on your remote). The current sort order will be shown at the top right of the screen.

Additional buttons:
Cancel D/L: Cancels any current download.
Queue: Displays movies from your queue that are available. Only displayed if any are available and your RSS Id was entered in config.

Navigating the lists:
In addition to the standard up/down and page commands, you can jump through the list by entering a number or letter. Numbers will act as phonekeys. Pressing 2, will jump to the first title starting with "2". Press two again within 2 seconds will jump to the first title starting with "A". "The", "A" and "An" are ignored at the beginning of a title. Pressing "0" returns you to the first item in the list.

Selecting a movie:
When selecting a movie, the plugin will connect to the Netflix website to get additional info for the movie. Details are cached, so it will only connect to netflix.com the first time the details are viewed for each movie per GBPVR session. A details window will then appear. If the movie has not been downloaded or is not currently being downloaded, a download button will be available. If the movie has started or completed downloading, a watch button will be available. Navigate the buttons by moving left or right.

You can only perform one download at a time! This a Netflix limitation. The plugin will alert you if you already have a download in progress when trying to start another.

Tv Series details:
When viewing a Tv series detail popup, the episodes will appear as a button. Move up and down to navigate the episodes. When "{ Select an Episode }" is displayed (default) the general description for the series will be shown along with the total runtime of all episodes. When an episode title is shown, the runtime and description for that episode will be shown if available. Download/Watch commands are shown the same as movies if that episode is available for streaming.

Multifunctional "Close" button:
The "Close" button on the details popup is a multifunction button. If a preview is available, a preview button will be displayed in place of the "Close" button. If the current movie or episode has been downloaded, an additional "Delete" command is available. Selecting the button and using the up/down commands will toggle between the options.

Playing previews:
Previews are played using the internal GBPVR video player. You will need directshow filters capable of playing .flv files. FFDShow is recommended.

Changing the plugin name displayed in PVRx2:
In the config.xml's <NetflixPlugin> section, you can change the name displayed for the plugin by adding the following:
Code:
<WatchNowName>Name to be displayed</WatchNowName>
You will need to re-enable the new plugin name in the Plugins section of the GBPVR config.

I included the updated skins for CS3.2 because I wasn't sure if Fatman_do has updated the package with them yet or not.

wow, fantastic! Working for me (well, it

* downloaded the list of movies)
* started a download)
* download is plowing away, seems to be working.

I'll check back later to see if it worked, but it's looking very good

Question 1: How do I know when its done? How do I find the movies I have downloaded?
Question 2: Is there any way to search? I figured out you can press the number keys to jump to the first movie starting with that letter, but man there has to be a better way then scrolling thru all 4,500 movies.

Question 3: Will you have my baby? Big Grin

Seriously - totally great plugin, My wife just started asking me how we can use the Netflix watch it now more, via the media pc... and hey, presto, there is your plugin.

I will be adding a "downloaded" list later.

No search capabilities yet. Some things did not make it into the beta because I didn't want to hold it up any more.

Sorry, you'll just have to be satisfied with the plugin.

agidius: Those logs don't show any log messages from the plugin. I'll create a special build for you to try.
