I'm using the Yahoo! EPG thing. I just updated to 1.2.13 last night. I manually ran EPG update in the Yahoo GUI and then checked the .xml file, and it did update properly and has all the shows through the 13th. But when I bring up TV Guide it shows "No Show Details" for anything after June 1st, but current shows still come up...

When I updated I had to redo almost all of my settings. But everything under the Channels Tab was correct. It is set to read from the .xml file properly.

Any Ideas?

Have you gone into GBPVR config, and under tab Capture Source, highlight your capture device and hit edit, you will see on the bottom right side an update EPG button, click on it and it will update the EPG guide data, make sure that the Yapi2xml file has info in it and is not blank, i have had some issues with yapi the last few days, but it is working again.

I am having the same problems with Yapi2xml. Yes, imagn, I have gone into config, highlighted the device, edit, update epg, nothing in the guide still. Honestly, you shouldn't have to do that anyway since Update EPG from the menu is supposed to do that, plus the Update EPG from the tray icon is supposed to do it too.

This is really kind of annoying. I don't want to have to pay for schedulesdirect to get the listings when Yapi2xml is free.

Incidently, what "Channel Format" should we be using? I had it on 2, but that may be the reason its not working. Should it be on 1 or something?

Come to think of it, I haven't had it working with yamixml.xml for quite a while now. Every time I try to get it to work, it never will show me anything in the guide, just the "(no show details)".

OK, tried as imagn said, no success. I have included the logs... Also, yes the xml files does have all of the proper information, so yapi2xml is working ok, it seems GBPVR isn't reading the xml right.

Yeah, there are enough of us having problems with it that I am thinking it might be GB-PVR's fault.

Yes, please if anyone has any idea, I do not want to miss my shows...

steveken, perhaps you too can also post a log, it my be easier to identify the flaw in GBPVR?

Thank you.

You have a duplicate channel id. You need to disable any duplicate channels.
Code:
2008-06-01 00:32:27.080    ERROR    [7]    XMLTV: error reading xml: Item has already been added. Key in dictionary: '0018'  Key being added: '0018'

I wonder if that might be my problem as well (the dupe channels that is). It seems to me like GB-PBR should be able to deal with dupes, especially if there really are more than one of the channel in your lineup.

Around here, for some reason I haven't figured out, they put our abc affiliate in 3 places. 1 in the regular analog area, 1 in the digital area that doesn't do the HD part, and another higher up in the digital area that actually carries the HD content when its on.

I am not sure how to resolve this really. Guess I will play with it.
