Twinhan 102G BDA driver problem

My problem is that I can't get gbpvr to recognize my Twinhan 102G.

I have the card working in dvbdream, beautifully. The shows up as "DTV Video Controller" in the device manager. I have tried a bazillion times to get it to use these so-called bda drivers that are out there, without success. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the card many, many times and used every bda download for the 878 from the twinhan site. I have even tried to use the bda driver from MT but it always installs as the DTV video controller.

When I set it up in GBPVR, I select the Direct Recording Plugin and have selected every Twinhan card listed when clicking on the settings button. It might be important to note that after I click ok and get back to the main Capture Sources screen, it displays as the BDA Recording Plugin. When try to launch the "Map the channels" button, it pops up a dialog box that says that it can't find my card

I am at a loss. I see that some folks have the 102G working in gbpvr. I have bailed twice already and tried other media centers but I really want to use gbpvr because I feel it is a superior product. And I really do not want to go out and buy a new card just because I can't seem to get it to recognize this card.

Can someone please walk me through their "proven" installation of a Twinhan 102G card? Please don't say, it should work or someone told me this would work. I have read a lot of posts and I just want to see it work for real.

I dont have a bda.ini file with me, and dont remember the exact syntax, so cant do it for you, but you try creating a new section using using these "USB 2870 Device" and "BDA 2870 TVTuner" filternames mentioned above.

Thanks, good idea sub. I added the following lines and I no longer get the error that the card is not recognized. However, now I can not see any channels when scanning. I am seeing 0% for Strength and Quality. I have tried 11250 for lof1 and lof2 with a switch setting of 0 for 119W. I have also tried several other lof settings that I have read on this forum. I have a disecq switch. So far, no success. I use 11250 in dvbdream successfully.
Any other logfiles I should be checking? Any other ideas?

Try lof1 0,switch 0,lof 2 11250 if you have a legacy LNB. You may also try to pull out the disecq and run straight to a single lnb for troubleshooting.

Thanks but unfortunately, this did not work either. I have not yet removed the disecq switch though. I am hesitant to do so since it works with the switch in other applications.

Does gbpvr function with a twinhan when using a disecq?
