hi there
the one thing your missing from your program is dvb support I notice that your trying to get it to work..

I being doing some experimenting.. it seems that you should be able to get it to work with the ss2 quite easily.
but from the looks of it you need to adjust the gb-pvr filewrite filter abit.

I can connect to fta dvb channel using skyavc then using the haupauge (150mce) file write filter to write the file video to the drive. and then you can access it.. so it should not be too much of a problem to get the gr-pvr filer to do the same..

the filter can be found here

Sorry, but this also comes under the "I dont have one of these devices, so its not possible for me to add support for it" category.

If the SS2 has BDA drivers, then it should work with the DVB support I am building.

I might be able to you drum up some support for you..... actully on the ss2 (skystar 2) I probably could have given one of those card but last week I just gave my last one away. maybe I find you someone with deeper pockets then me.. but on bda- does it not have a limitation it does not support disqec swiitches

I was wondering, my programing skill suck somewhat-- well just basicall suck.. but are you able to to access the the core program. such as a plugin could be built to that would interact with the osd and mpeg decodes to display the dvb through your inteface.. if so I think I might be able to drum up some developers for you..

sash, I've PM'd you the password for the pre-release forum. There probably wont anything available there for another couple of weeks though, as I'm just really starting on the next release after having a couple of weeks off.

I'd appreciate a tester for the SS2 if you can get BDA drivers.

well I checked around.. while a bda driver does exists for this card.. it will not be publicly released until possible May or June of this coming year.

I will see if I can grab acopy from someone somewhere, but it probably will take me abit to find one that someone willing to release.. But I have other dvb card that are bda compatible...
