i always get told i dont look like a geek when i tell someone what i do, then i explain to them that the symbol on my shirt is actually a superhero logo (green lantern, greatest american hero etc), and its all down hill from there.... but i get called dork more than geek/nerd....
hmm i wonder how many posts this is now.....

I've been told in this thread that Geek means you can have a wife. Nerd means you may have a G/F but not exclusively. So what does a Dork have

Dork was a bit 80's wasn't it, and a bit more offensive than Geek.
I think Geek has friendlier connotations than Dork or Nerd... And i find Geek a bit more accepted..

chiming in a little late, but a true geek takes being called a geek as a compliment. if you did not view this as a compliment, you are not a geek.
