Troubleshooting
1) Check MDAPIFilter log ( Moved to TV Server logs folder )
2) Use Dependency Walker ( http://www.dependencywalker.com/depends22_x86.zip )
3) Start server using the VistaTrayIcon mode and browse the graph in GraphEdit.
4) Make a zip file with your logs and upload it to zhare or something and make a post here at the DVBN forum.

one thing makes me worry: what about this fixed pvrx2.exe? is it essential for working out the new version 2.1.1.? i'm using it for now but not sure what happens if sub releases a new version of gb-pvr or similar... :confused:

Maybe with the new version 2.2 is no longer needed to use the GBPVR fixes...

I can confirm that the GBPVR fixes are not needed. I have the latest version of GBPVR installed and this MDAPIFilter worked fine. I did have one issue when installing over old MDAPIFilter files - GBPVR kept trying to make changes when I started up the config tool, and then would reverse the changes (like when you install something and the blue line goes from left to right, and then back to the left if the install fails and the installer removes any files it installed, if that makes sense).

edit: I may have spoke to soon. I am having some stability issues, but I am not sure if they are related to MDAPI. When I find out more, I will let you know.

I think I am having problems with plugins in general. Applying the GBPVR fix didn't take care of the instabilities. Some that I have been experiencing:
1. Channel viewable in background but "encrypted channel" message appears in foreground
2. GB-PVR crashes while watching live tv
3. Updating EPG in config application causes the config app to hang
4. When selecting a channel in the TV Guide, there is no "Watch" option

I'll keep playing with it and post any updates.

edit: installed, looks like no difference to 2.1., which did work fine anyway ;-)

...except for changing channels on pc-client (http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=37466), but i'm not sure whether its an mdapi issue, or plugin or what else :-((

I just gave multidec another chance, and it seems to work fine (without the GBPVR fix, not a long test though). I do have a question: what's the best setup of the multidec flags setup? I mean the following flags:
- Record out of process;
- Reuse MDAPI filter;
