Just noticed that I have more Simpsons episodes than I am likely to watch in a year (something like 57 hours!).

"The Simpsons" is on at least 4 channels everyday. Some channels play 2 episodes back to back twice a day. I still have not seen them all. Is America great or what??

If you really want ot be in for a shocker, do law and order! Just for giggles I did a sears for all isntances of law and order and ended up with 271 episodes in 2 weeks. I mean what the hell.... They do say that there is a law and order of some kind being broadcast on some channel somewhere int he world every hour of every day. It's kinda ridiculous....

Yeh I had that problem until I started using I-xmltv plugin so I would only record new episodes.

Just out of curiosity, how many of those "The IT Crowd" are duplicates?

We don't have the program in NZ - but I watched season 1 & 2 at my friends housem which was only like 12 episodes.

Cheers

I record scrubs, but restrict it to "Record in this Daily timeslot" and only on one channel.

Otherwise I'd get NBC, once per day on WPSG & WPHL, and about 80 times a day on Comedy Central

I also tell it to keep only 5 recordings.

We don't get a lot of Law & Order here anymore. We get tons of "Everybody Loves Raymond", "King of Queens", "Two and a Half Men", "Family Guy" and of course "The Simpsons".

My cable company delivers the local Montreal channels, local Vermont channels and local Seattle channels. This gives me 3 sets of network affiliates who all play syndicated shows from about 4 to 7 everyday. Plus the big cable channels like Peachtree and TBS who do the same thing.

The overlap of network channels is especially nice since I still have only one capture source. I get two chances to record anyhting thats on.

I had this setup for a while but it was problematic. Since I'm in Canada a lot of the shows do not come with proper descriptions from SD. Many of the Simpsons are just labeled as "Homer and Marge raise Bart, Lisa and Baby Maggie". A few other shows that I record regularly have the same generic descriptions.

I would prefer it if the shows were just flagged as duplicates rather than not revorded at all.
