I am trying to get listings to download for the series "Coach". Well in the process it downloaded the cover art and details for the movie "Coach Carter". No matter what I do I cannot get it to remove coach carter. I have uninstalled twice, removed MovieWiz details from config.xml, but to no avail. I install again and am automatically staring at the cover art and movie details for cc. It's been since 2006 since I've used GBPVR so excuse my ignorance....thanks.

The database for moviewiz lives in the program files\devnz\gbpvr\plugins\moviewiz called moviewiz.db3 (there's also a moviewizempty.db3). You can probable remove the moviewiz.db3 one - but this will remove all entries - but looks like you were trying to remove it anyway..

Also I think you could have deleted the entry from the config app for moviewiz. There's a delete button for an entry.

Thx. I used the empty database to overwrite the old one, disabled the plugin and then reenabled but it's still there! Smile Coach Carter will not leave me alone....aagh

Well I thought I had it working. Figure this out. I completely uninstalled all assumed traces of GBPVR and Moviewiz. I removed all entries from the registry for both, ran advanced uninstaller9 against the machine (Vista Home Premium) to repair and remove any unused entries in the registry, rebooted and reinstalled. Presto! I was able to add a couple tv episodes and movies with lookups flawlessly. I thought I was well on my way. Until.....I came back after machine was idle a couple of hours and started to work on having GBPVR load automatically on power on. All I did was create a shortcut to pvrx2 , ran it once and that ^&*$ coach carter is back! And none of my new entries in the database show up when I run pvrx2. When I run the config my new entries do show up, but as I exit and reload they don't show up. Where have I gone wrong. Granted the first time I ran moviewiz I was just messing around trying to figure out how to use it so where have I stuck this graphic for the coach carter movie, and how does it keep referring back to it after a completeprogram removal? The only other thing I could think of doing is a complete system reload. I can restore back to a restore point I created just after a clean install of GBPVR, but I'm positive it'll mess up again......any thoughts?

I think it may be useful to zip and post your logs and if possible, your MovieWiz.db3 as well. If you'd like to email to me directly rather than post that would be fine also.

Could it be Vista, putting back files from its "shadow copy" resources?
AMD Athlon 64 3000, HDD: 80, 120, 200 GB, Hauppauge 350 + 150, MVP, Asus 6000L Laptop client, Asus X50sl client,
Fritz!box 7140 modem/router, GBPVR 1.3.7.

Thx. Guys, I will dig into the log files and then send them as I can today. I have wondered if it's something Vista is doing also. I've held off using Vista long enough, so I'll admit I don't know heaps aboutit just yet, but it does seem like stuff just reappears. Ill lookup shadow copy and see what it entails. In the states we have a snickers commercial about Robert Goulet messing with your stuff when hunger strikes! Maybe that's it :-)
