Anyone record this? I missed it and the missus is pretty disappointed. NBC only has three episodes online and the latest is the 7/24 airing.

I still have a copy of that episode that I haven't watched yet, but it's a HD recording almost 10 gigs in size! If you don't mind a scaled down version, I could email it to you or upload it somewhere?

That works great as long as you don't have Verizon or RoadRunner. (And maybe Comcast now, too.)

Have I mentioned the New York Attorney General is one of the biggest idiots on the face of the Earth? If not, I just did. Some places would call his tactics "extortion." Not to mention further trampling on the First Amendment.

I wonder what it's like to live in a free country.

That works great as long as you don't have Verizon or RoadRunner. (And maybe Comcast now, too.)

I've got Verizon, but I've also got Easynews. Have had it for a while, as Verizon's servers, when they still carried the alt.* hierarchy, only had a retention rate of about 14 days for most of the binary groups. Easynews knuckled under to an extent, dropping some groups that were on a list compiled by some net nanny group in the UK, but they didn't drop all of alt.*, like Verizon did.

Yeah, when I was a kid, they taught us about how horrible it was to live in the USSR, where you had to have a visa to travel inside the country. Now, I'm afraid to leave my house without carrying a photo id. I don't drive, so I had to get one from the state I live in, just to open a bank account!
