The Search feature of the blue skin (default one, not changed from default install) is great, but is there a way to filter only the Movies that are being shown in the future?

Currently, I'm scanning the TV Guide manually looking for movies...

Is there any easy way in GBPVR to single out the movies being shown on channels?

SearchWiz will do this for you. One useful thing to know about SearchWiz is that it does not filter out channels that are in your EPG guide data, even if those channels are disabled via config. It searches the entire database, which will include all programs in your guide data. There may well be other programs that do this.

Anyone who has control over their guide data should try to eliminate the channels they don't receive at the source (i.e. in Schedules Direct or MceEpg2XmlTV or XMLTV or wherever) if they can instead of disabling them in config.
