Help - Caller id

I'v just decide to add caller id into gbpvr.
(It's been working perfectly for 6-12+ months, and as my wife says I can't leave well enough alone - always got to do something.)

I can't seem to get it to work on screen. YAC is setup and working fine.
(I know gbpvr is its own listener.) thought it might be the skin-community3, but when switch to blue the callerid button doesn't even show up.

Please kick my rear if this an easy problem and I just don't see it.

What version of GBPVR are you running? Cause the Caller ID plugin is not supported with PVRX2.

Well then I guess that answers it. Ive been using pvrx2 1.1.?? (maybe 1.2.?? can't remember) for a awhile and just upgraded to 1.2.13. Like I said everything is perfect so I had to mess with it. Are there any plans to have a current version?

I may be way off, but I don't think it can be updated at the moment. I believe sub needs to implement something first in order for on screen things to appear via plugins.

it works on mvp and popcorn hour using blue skin i probably had to copy over the skin files dont remember. it just doesnt show up when watching videos.on the pc it doesnt work i remember a thread somewhere about why it doesnt work on pc maybe it had to do with the listener and server on same pc but not sure. im using yac.

I love X2, but this is my (and the wife's) most missed plug-in.

TiVos and all the cable companies over here have CID on-screen standard now. While still the coolest kid on the block, I've been taken down a notch.

I sincerely hope we have it again one day.

Sounds like the caller id plugin is impossible in pvrx2 according to this. Callerid is one of the few plugins I use. Guess I'll need to continue staying away from pvrx2.

damn ive been meaning to impliment this and about to buy software for it, probs still look at the standard network stuff as seems to work better from what i read (means all machines can see it).

I almost don't need this, as Directv allows you to show caller ID on the screen. But I don't want the callerID info coming up when I am recording things. So I'd like to see this plugin come back once the capability exists in GBPVR.
