What does it mean when...

there is a * next to the film displayed?

Some of mine have a * and others do not and I can't figure out the rhyme or reason.

It looks like the * is appended at the end of the title when MovieWiz thinks that the movie has not been watched before (from within MovieWiz). If it is one of your recorded movies, MovieWiz does not know if you watched it from the recordings plugin.

I don't record movies with pvr, I just transfer them over from my hard drive collection. It seems somewhat varied as which ones it puts a * next to and which ones it doesn't. I haven't watched very many using moviewiz, I'm just in the process of archiving. But it seems about half my collection has the * and half doesn't.

Also, the plugin does not know if you've watched the whole movie, only that you've launched it and started watching. If you finish OR exit before the movie finishes, the * will not show.
