Hi,

I am getting the following unhandled exception when i try clicking on netflix watch it now in the main menu.

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** Exception Text **************
System.MissingMethodException: Method not found: 'Boolean CommonGBPVRUtilities.ConfigFileUtilities.GetMainBoolConfigSetting(System.Xml.XmlDocument, System.String, Boolean)'.
at Netflix.CommonUtils.LogMessage(LogLevel level, String message)
at Netflix.WatchNowPlugin.Deactivate()
at GBPVRX2.MenuTask.x0be92cb4e3ac1817.returnToMenu()
at GBPVRX2.xdd215986d9a64c86.ReturnToMainMenu()
at GBPVRX2.x0061b801bdf12d35.WndProc(Message& m)

at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m)
at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam)

When I ctrl alt delete to close gbpvr when this happens I also see a white screen with the infamous red diagonal cross.
Thank you

Do you have the CommonGBPVRUtilities.dll? It should be placed in the Plugins\Common folder.

It can be in either folder. Zip and post your pvrx2.exe.log after reproducing the problem

Unfortunately the logs don't show anything. It is not finding a method in CommonGBPVRUtilities.dll that it needs in order to write information to the logs. Right mouse click CommonGBPVRUtilities.dll and verify that you have version 3.0.2847.27302 on the details tab. If so, stop and restart the recording service as a precaution and try the plugin again. If not, stop the recording service before replacing it. Let me know if it still doesn't work.

Turns out I somehow had an ancient version of CommonGBPVRUtilities....
So now the plugin is loading and looking fine. What it doesn't do is load my queue (do you must have watch it now stuff in your queue only?) and doesn't play downloaded(ing) movies. I started downloading a movie waited until i got about 6% downloaded and clicked watch. The launching player message was hanging for about 5 mins and then nothing happened...
I can even see what i think is the corresponding error in the log I am just not sure what it means...

Loading queue: It reads your DVD queue and displays the movies that are available for instant viewing. The "Instant queue" was added to the Netflix website after I implemented the queue functionality and I have not updated the plugin to read the instant queue yet.

Movie not playing: Browse to your movie cache folder and open the wmv file in Windows Media Player. When the movie starts, you may get a popup screen asking you to log in to Netflix. Once logged in, you can close Media Player and it should work in the plugin. If you don't get the popup and the movie doesn't play in WMP, got to Tools -> Options -> Privacy tab and make sure that "Download usage rights automatically when I play or sync a file" is checked.
