when the plugin is started, does it always check the XML file for the downloads list??

I am asking because I am thinking about moving the downloads directory to the server, hopefully making it available to all the clients.

would this work??

I think it only checks the first time the plugin is started during that PVRx2 session. To be honest, I simply didn't think about it when implementing the new way the downloads work. I'll fix it for the next release so that it will re-check each time you select "Downloads".

Moving the downloads folder should work fine other than that but the paths in Downloads.xml will need to work for all clients. Edit Downloads.xml with notepad or Notepad++ and change the "File" attribute in the <Status> tags. You can use a UNC path like File="\\MyServer\\Netflix\.."

If you use a mapped drive like "Z:\" it would need to be mapped to Z:\ on all clients.

if the worst I have to do to get an updated downloads list is go back to the gbpvr main menu, that is very acceptable.
