Hi,
I use GB-PVR with my MediaMVP.

Works all fine, but now I have some DivX Files and they have 2 Audio Tracks.
On PVRX2 I can switch the Tracks with STRG-G (Morgan Switcher is installed)
but on my MVP, I can´t switch between the Tracks.
Press the Color-Buttons on my Remotecontrol doesn´t help.

Is there a way to select the track on my MVP?

Btw, thx for GB-PVR, the best solution for the MVP Smile

Sorry, there is no equivalent function when using an MVP.

Well, I read around in the forum, and so far I understand, to play Divx-Avis on a MVP, GB-PVR must transcode the Avi on the fly which is done with ffmpeg.
Right?

Well, have ffmpeg a parameter for selecting the Audio Track and can I change it in GB-PVR?

I had a look for options for both ffmpeg and mencoder command lines last night and I didn't think of anything you could add easily and safely (ie it wouldn't break other files). It probably needs some smarts like might be available in ZProcess.

The command line is in config.xml so you should be able to play with custom options, but remember to restart the gbpvr recording service to make these manual changes take effect.

In theory you can do this, but GB-PVR wouldnt be able to change the audio track during playback, so it'd need to know what audio track you were interested in before playback began. GB-PVR has no way to know what audio track you're interested in, so always just plays the default audio track. The only way it could know is by popping up a window to ask the user to select an audio track prior to playback, but sorry I wont be doing that (yuck!).

You can edit the ffmpeg command line in config.xml though, but thats definitely not a user friendly solution, so I stand by my original comment about this functionality isnt available via the MVP. Sorry.

Thx for your quick answers and support Smile
I understand you don´t want popping windows ect. Wink

I love watching old TV-Series, most of them are in Divx-Format,
but meanwhile, the most of them are DVD-Rips, and include the german (which I want) and english audio track. Yeah...maybe not always realy legal.

I have now 2 ways, Edit the Divx-Files with Virtualdub (extract Video/Audio with Streamcopy and join with german language as default track) or I find out which parameter I must change or add to config.xml (hints are welcome).

I cant tell you what parameters you'd need to add to the command line, since this isnt something I've ever done myself, but I can tell you setting in name in config.xml is <MVPFFmpegTranscodeCmdLinePAL>.

Have done change the default-audiostream on my aiv´s with VirtualDubMod.
The default-track in some Avis are in different language,
so change the config.xml is not the best solution for me :/
Or GB-PVR get some config-buttons in the future.... Wink

I have tried hours and tons of tools...most of them make async audio,
cause if there is a vbr-audio in a avi-containerfile,
they change the avi-header.

Here the instruction if someone need it too:
VirtualDubMod
File / Open Video File
(Now if there an error about VBR-Audio Stream detected...don´t let VDM change anything, cause the Video get out of sync. Select No.)

Streams/Stream List
Move the Audiotrack you want to the top of the list. This will be the default audio track.

File / Save AS
Select at Video-Mode Direct Stream Copy and save the video.

Thats all Smile

ZProcess is still at the mercy of available command lines switches from mplayer/mencoder or ffmpeg.

If someone knows the switches, I could add that feature...
